1946:

Company founded by Dr. Körl

1960:

Dr. Specht joins the company

1964:

Procurement of the first gas chromatograph (ECD+FPD) for examining plant protection residues.

1979:

The multimethod is revealed for the first time, also known as the “Specht" method.

1982:

The multimethod is adopted in the DFG collection of methods as collective method S19 (“DFG S 19“)

1990:

Authorization to perform residue examinations for plant protection agents in line with the basic principles of good laboratory practice (GLP)

1998:

Accreditation in accordance with EN 45001 (now: ISO 17025)

2000:

Procurement of the first LC-MS/MS system

2000:

Eurofins Scientific acquires a majority share in Dr. Specht Laboratorien

2001:

New premises with state-of-the-art laboratory facilities in Hamburg-Harburg, after 55 years in the center of Hamburg; accompanied by integration of the Pesticide Department of the partner laboratory Wiertz-Eggert-Jörissen

2002:

Accreditation in accordance with EN ISO / IEC 17025

2003:

Study directorship for GLP field trials

2004:

Utilization and extension of further laboratory capacities

2007:

Reaccreditation in accordance with EN ISO / IEC 17025 : 2005
